can someone with eea residence card enrol to a uni for free

benefits of getting a residence card apart from the MOST IMPORTANT ONE staying with your love ones

Typically after 3 years of UK residence as a EU family member, one may pay 'home fees'. I do not know who qualifies for "free University".

No one gets to go to university for free in this country! If you mean are you entitled to home fees/student finance, see the link below -
