Home Office Ref Number and Points Based System migrant refer

Hi,
I am in the process of filling up the Tier 1 - extension form and there are two fields that I dont know where to get the data from. It does not seem to be mandatory (if known is used at the end), but would appreciate if anyone can help me...
Home Office Reference Number
PBS migrant reference number

If you had previously entered into correspondence with the UKBA, either or both of those numbers would be on any letter you may have received from them. Most people will not have these numbers.

These are not mandatory fields.

It says very clearly in the bracket 'If Known'. In case you don't know it, just leave it blank.
