Help please. Question 6.1 when did you first enter the UK?

could anyone give a confirmed answer.

My work permit visa start from 12/Jan/2007.
My current tier 1 visa would be expired on 18/08/2012.
My made appoint for ILR application on 15/Mar/2012.

for the question "when did you first enter the Uk?" on the form, which date should I filled in?

Is it 12/Jan/2007 as my WP visa shows or 15/Mar/2007 which was the date 5 years before the application date??
