VAF4 FEE QUESTION

Hello Guys

Can someone tell me the difference between a dependant and a dependant relative for a settlement visa purpose as the fees are very different £850 for dependant and £1850 for relative dependant.I am gathering documentation to bring my son to UK.

A dependant is a wife, partner or child. A dependant relative is a mother, father, bother, sister or other family relative.
