Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan

Can anyone advise what the current fees are in pakistan for applying for a uk spouse visa?

i submitted the papers on 23/1/2012.it was Rs.118250 then.not sure whats the fee now.u can ring Gerry's and ask them.

do they take cash or is there a specific mode of payment?

cash i think bcoz everyone was paying them cash.

@ hunny2010; No my wife wasnt given 22 working days promise but as I hear people on this forum talking about it and sorry my 22 working days waiting would be these monday 27/02/2012 not 28/02/2012. wullah hate waiting so much. I would have prefed to wait 6 months has long as I would know I hear a positive answer. these waiting kills. may allah gives all of us tawfiq

oh ok however they do give 22 days to all kharchi applicants will let u know if this is true by next week i know the wait is hard they taking there time

hi yes this is what it said on day of submission ten days later it says being processed at bhc islmbad oc means sent to abhu dhabi were did u submit your case from khi or ism[/list]

I hear from many people if it says islamabad OC then it is sent it to abu dhabi but that isnt always the case . I think the kharchi once are sented to islamabad and then from islamabad they will decide if the rather have to sent it to abu dhabi or deal with it in islamabad. I submitted it in islamabad

Yes this forum has been really quite this week my wife was expecting her passport back it's been 23 days and still not ready Theses Eco's take the their flaming time on purpose it's so annoying I hope that next week everyone waiting on here recieves good news inshallah

Hey guys, just needed to know, when taking the English test do you need both your ID card AND passport?

yeah its safe to get both ID card and Passport with urself.

Yes but is there a requirement to have both? Will they not let you take the test if you dont have an ID card and/or passport? It's just that previously I'd heard that you need to have an ID card to sit the test and now I've been told you need a passport too. It also sucks that Pakistanis take agesss making an ID card for you..

So I talked to my sis in law and she told me the NADRA office is closed or something thats why they are taking ages about it but she has been told that she will be able to sit the test with just her ID card. Let's hope she gets it in time for her test and then there's the wait for her test results to come back..

My wife's was submitted at Lahore I think people that submit at Islamabad get it back quicker as they do the stamping there for settlement applications

what do the ukba mean when they say that a endorsed and registered nika nama is required? my nika nama has the SEAL OF THE NIKAH REGISTAR with the union council written inside...isnt this enough and besides should the people who applied before this confusing rule of the nika nama (24th Oct) NOT be affected?
someone please comment on the legal status of this issue if known please.many thanks

Sis it makes no difference at all on where you work. It depends on the mood of the ECO, there have been people with strong paperwork that have been refused while others have had weak paperwork; hardly any bank balance and have been granted visa. Its a game of luck to be honest. And job type is just out of the question.

Good luck please remain patient and Allah is with you.

It can take up to 60 working days (12 weeks), please don't give up.. and if you do contact them for an update before the 12 weeks are up they will just give you a standard reply saying to wait until this 3month period is up.

I WAITED 13 WEEKS and it was a refusal indeed

But Alhumdhulila my hubby was granted visa on review when we appealed!

So guys when you submit please keep patient because sometimes you have to be prepared for the worst, if you lose all your hope and energy at such an early stage (say at 5 weeks of submission) how will you have the strength to get through the whole process.. I was even thinking about going to hearing which would have all taken up to a whole year. So guys this 12 weeks wait is nothing compared to the whole appeal process! Trust me, you need to have hope in Allah swt and be patient!

Naila sis i think they received ur appeal after few weeks because when u appeal , the AIT have 4 weeks to send the paperwork to the embassy, they dont send it right away, they have 28 days to send visa section since i am going to lodge my appeal and just found out..
Besides you dont have long now till ur date in april hopefully inshallah it will be good news.x
