PEO straightforward application, extension, keeping passport

Post by marzooq » Sun Feb 26, 2012 5:56 pm

I have appointment this week, my application is straightforward, employed, providing salary slips from UK employers.
What chances they will keep my passport, because I urgently need my passport after 10 days.
is it a risk to go for PEO if I need my passport?

If it is a straightforward case, why you think they will keep passport?

Best Luck.

They will give you passport on the same day if every thing goes fine with the approval letter. No body can guess or read the mind of caseworker to tell you that they will keep your passport or not.

why I think? is because of all bizarre stories I read here in the forum.
I don't mind if they do extra checks, my application is simple and documents are genuine. the problem is that I don't want to risk keeping my passport there.

it is surely better than posting you application.even though they keep it, it would not be as long as posting an application where u might not even recieve acknowledgement after 10days

Hi,
If all your documents are fine, then I would assume that your decision should not take more than 2 hours at PEO and you should get the passport on the same day.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Jay
