If you are an Irish Citizen you don't have to pay EU fees in TCD or UCD you just need to pay registration fee which is around 2,000- 2,500 per year.

Well, you need to properly define what you understand by EU fees

1. If you are an Irish citizen (It doesn't matter if naturalised or not), you only pay registration fees for Degree program (mostly).

2. If you are an EU citizen from another state, you pay the EU fees, which is usually about half of what the international student will pay, plus the registration fees.

3. If you are a NON-EU citizen but have lived within the EU, working and paying taxes, you are entitled to pay EU fees

4. More importantly, if you start a degree program in a college, you CANNOT switch halfway from NON EU, or EU fees to an Irish citizen ( No fees), even if you become a citizen in the course of the program.

5. However, if you are in College A and become an Irish in the middle of your program, in some instances, you may switch to college B to escape the fees. But you cannot enjoy that same privilege in the same college.

Irish citizens paying just registration fees for course of study. Is that just full time courses or part time as well?. Thanks

if your eu or irish citizen than you only pay registration fee.if your legal non eu member living over 3 years same you will be quifilied for less fee cretria. good luck
