Any1 who successfully applied with 2 different pay dates???

Post by curioussam » Sat Mar 03, 2012 11:05 am

Is there anyone out there with 2 different pay dates from 2 different employers in 1 accounting year who successfully applied?

How did you convince the ukba officer about the periods being claimed?

i was paid 15th of every month from Jan -Mar for 1 employer and 25th of the remaining months from my current employer for the year 2011.

i had a hard time convincing the PEO officer as she was so fixated on 15th and refused to acknowledge that it is merely a pay date in the period 01st -31st. she stressed period claimed should be 15th jan 2011 -14 dec 2011.

how do i treat my earnings for the months in which was i paid on the 25th? the guidance does not permit you to pro-rate.

is there any body out there that has a similar pay structure and was able to apply successfully?

my visa expires this week and i need to send my application by post. please reply only if you have something constructive to add.

if you already went to PEO why do you need to submit application by post again?

ok - I have now read the other post. the case worker was clearly wrong. Pay date is not relevant but pay period is. Even if you need to consider 15th Jan as the start date of the 12 month period, then it should end at 14 Jan 2012 and not 14 Dec 2011 - in the latter case only 11 month is being considered.

t1-general-guidance PDF, page 17, Sec2:15, paragraph 80 Said "All the periods we specify are calendar months (for example 14 January – 13
February)."

Really sorry to hear about you case.

I did applied for various different dates. I worked for 3 different employers during my claimed periods and all with different dates.

1. First employer :-6th of every month
2. Weekly payment(umbrella company-I was in contract)
3. I was employee of my own company -paying myself on 7th (salary) and 8th of every (dividend) month.

But the perion i caimed was dec 2010 to nov 2011.(12 months) and got my extension on 2nd feb 2012.

Do you need to claim all 12 months to get the necessary points?

My situation

I got monthly salary from my job hour basis. But paid next month around 8 in bank account.

My initial tier 1 postal application, I use this job income. No problem.
