Hi Ashishashah

I wonder why anyone hasn't repled to your post yet. I am also interested in knowing about the checklist for EC. Lets see if someone who has already succeeded in getting EC replies to your post.

3 years returns?

Post by tramp » Fri Nov 03, 2006 9:43 am

Srib:

Is submiting the returns for the last 3 years mandatory or is it a proactive measure?

Asish:
Can you please let us know how you fared in the EC? Were the documents that you submitted enough or did you need to provide any additional?

Regards,
T

Hi Prakash,
Congrats on getting the EC.
Thanks for sharing the details on the docs submitted by you. Did you have a interview for the EC? If yes, can you list the questions that you were asked?

For everyones info:

EC now requires medical checkup as a part of approval process and it may take upto 15 days to get your passport stamped. This new rule is applicable from 1st November it seems.

I applied for EC today and was surprised to know about "new medical checkup". Anyone has taken medical checkup yet?

Cheers,
Amjad.

EC in "In-Country" or "Out-Country"

I have been for medical check for "Out-Country" application in India about 5 years ago.

Hi Prakash,

One more clarification:
Do we need to give all the documents for EC in a folder (like when we sent the documents for HSMP) (or) we need to give only the documents and VFS will take care of them.

Looking forward to your reply.

srib

Hi Prakash,
Could you please send me formats for Affidavit of Support and CA Statement for property. Do I need to get the CA statement on my name or it will be on my father's name.
I am going to apply for EC in 1 week of december.
Kindly help.
