I'm also happy that I didn't use any solicitors or agents to help us with the application, I just used this forum! On that note, I would like to thank everybody who gave me advice and encouragement. This is a really good community for advice and a good support network. Thank you.
As long as your application is genuine and you demonstrate that you meet all of the requirements, then you should have no problem in receiving the visa.
I'm known to be very calm and collected but I'll admit that the visa application process can be stressful. My advice is to ignore a lot of the b.s. you hear or read as the process should actually be quite straight forward.
To all those still waiting, I wish you good luck and I pray you receive your visas soon.
God bless. One life, one love, peace up!
We out this bitch.

Dude you asked the same thing yesterday and I told you that you won't have much longer to wait now. Based on past applicants and their timings and other categories of application, since they use this status.aziz4ever wrote:any1 here who's status was changed to"Application has been forwarded to the Embassy for processing. 04/03/2012" has a status of "ready for collection"?

You're looking at around 10-15 working days after that status to get a response, you pretty much asked the same question yesterday as well.
Why is it that some people have no patience at all and others do?
Excellent news. Congratskar14 wrote:Alhumdholillah, my wife picked up her visa yesterday . I booked her flight today! It took just over 10 weeks from when we applied to receive the visa.aaaaaa123 wrote:Kar14 where u gone

My husband is going to submit the visa tomorrow, he has an appointment with Gerry's @ Mirpur and 9am tomorrow.
He told me that our family lawyer said that it will take around 9weeks to hear something back but I told him it is maximum 12 weeks, and we can hear anytime during that time if Allah wills and the visa will be granted.
I dont know what the next stages are, how to track the visa etc... It will be greatly appreciated if anyone can tell me how to do all that.
I have been reading that when he submits the visa he will get a tracking reference number, but where do you check it? On what website?
After a 2year wait off being away from hubby my time has now come, I have a small request, please remember me and my husband in your du'aas as I really need them. They say the power of du'aa is very powerful and I have also been told to read du'aa Jamila every morning.
Jazak'Allah khair xxx
You need to speak to some experts, these are not circumstances many of the members here will have experienced or known of first hand. I don't even know what a "residence card" is.nastergate wrote:I am British Citizen living in Copenhagen, Denmark with my family( daughter and wife). My wife is Pakistani Citizen and my daughter has recently been granted British Citizenship. Now I would like to move to UK along with my family. My wife has residence Card which is due for renewal after 5 years as it will become permanent by than. Please advise.
If applicant has given them a mobile number and an email address, you'll get updates yourself automatically, so you have nothing to worry about.*Nazia wrote: I dont know what the next stages are, how to track the visa etc... It will be greatly appreciated if anyone can tell me how to do all that.
