Tier-1 extension and ILR application (Second extn required?)

Hi All,

I would need your help in understanding this.

I got my Tier-1 on 23rd July 2010
So, expiring on 23rd July 2012.
I came to UK for attending interview on 24th Nov 2010 then went back to India, resigned from there and finally had come to UK on 4th Feb 2011 and since then I am working here. Clearly, you can see, I couldn't immediately come to UK after my first VISA as I didn't have JOB offer. So, there a gap (24th NOV - 23rd July) before I first entered UK.

I had asked my colleague and phoned HO as well. They said that the 90 days and total of 180 days calculation will start from the day your employment has started in UK which is 7th Feb2011 (monday) for my case. Is this correct?

Secondly, if I am successful in my extension, there will be another 3 year given so - till July 2015. But as I said - there was an initial delay (Nov 2010 - july 2010). So, in this case, will I have to apply for 2nd extension to make up this gap?

Thirdly, while applying for 2nd extension, will the same rule apply for me as it will be during July 2012 (the first extension)?

Please, any help will be appreciated.....

you will need second extension as the gap is more than 3 months before you entered UK
