Hi!

Morning Every1, I woke up feeling a wreck this morning, I am filled with fear, I posted my application on the 25/2/2012, it reaches 28/2/2012, I am worried because I am not working and I have been a student all my ten years of being here. Can someone shed some light on my situation, I would be happy to get some comforting news. Do you think this could affect my application? I have never overstayed, all my previous appplications were on time, and I have travelled abroad a few times.

Thnx in advance
All for one, one for all..... Peace

You have to have 9 years 11 months 2 days legal residency, and not a single gap more than 6 months in 10 years period, and your total absence is not more than 540 days in 10 years period, it doesn't matter whether all 10 years on student, or combination of visa, as long as it is 10 years legal residency that will be fine, your case seems to me you will get it soon.

Recent update

Post by sameer2012 » Mon Mar 12, 2012 10:44 pm

Hi guys
Here is my recent update regarding my application
Application sent 29th February 2012
Application received by HO on 1st march 2012
Acknowlwdgement letter 07 march 2012(dated 02 march 2012)
Biometric letter received 12march 2012(dated07march2012)
Biometric enrolment 12march 2012(same day@Earl'scourt)
I hope I will get my indefinite biometric card within couple of weeks time.if it does it would be the shortest waiting time according to the data showed in the forum.
My case is very straight forward
6 years student 3 years and 9 months as a family member of eea national
3 months retained right of residence(after divorce)
No criminal/civil conviction,no gaps,always applied LTR's and Residence Permit's on time.
I could apply before 29th February 2012 but deliberately applied on 29th February so I could get my biometric done once your biometric done then it's very rare that you have to wait for so longer.maximum 3-4 weeks after your biometric you would get your decision.
Thanks
SAMEER
