If it says application forwarded to embassy this usually is in Abu dhabi if it says British high commission then It's in islamabad
thanx, really confused it went to bhc before it went to Abu dhabi so ATM my application is in Abu dhabi, think it wil take longer now
It doesn't matter where it is you will defo get it back within 12 weeks some people get it back faster than others but 12 weeks is the maximum so don't worry it will fly by inshallah

The applications are still in islamabad high commission they have not been forwarded to the embassy just confirmed with abu dhabi embassy and confirmed with gerrys that the applications are under process at the british high commission islamabad dont know why they have given that status

Application under process at bhc on 31/01/12
Application forwarded to embassy for processing on 04/03/12

could you please give me the number where u rang, as far as am concerned they cant put wrong information on the online visa, if they do then there will be people complaining about it, cuz there are more people lookin online status to check to when to collect the passport.

Does anyone know if City and Guilds is still an accepted test if done in Pakistan?

Yeah it is accepted in Pakistan but they take aaaaaages to recieve the certificates, like about 2months I read it on this forum.

Why not stick to TOEIC instead? You get your results after 2 weeks then after a couple of days you recieve the certificates.

Try SLS College.

I hear the timeline for.city and guilds certificate has changed to 5 weeks as before there was a backlog of tests that were cheated so that's why they took agez but now its been sorted it out hence a quicker reply.

My huby took the toeic test yesterday which he found abit hard and cos he's not positive that he will score correctly for the speaking test he's takin the city and guilds next week just in case.

Salaam to all my Muslim brothers and sisters. My name is taniya i applied for my husbands visa on 23 January 2012 and its was under process at bhc on the 2nd of February and now like most of you its changed to forwarded to embassy for process.does anyone now what that means pls. As i have been married for 3years but due to my age being 18then i only turned 21 last year.pls do dua for me

Thank you sis.i now i have been reading through this forum and it has upset me to read those peoples visa who has been rejected.and i hope and pray that everyone visa gets done quickly as we all deserve to be with our other half. As me are not doing anything harm.we have done everything according to Allah will. I am gettin confused some people are sayin its in dubai.some are sayin they've made a decision and some are sayin its still in islamabad.

Ooops. I can understand you are suffering a lot without any authentic reason. I am sure you are not familiar with new rules. . The age restriction of 21 has been revised now, and reinstate minimum age 0f 18. It was review by the Supreme Court 2-3 months back. Below the link mentioned below.

Gerrys: phoned from uk 08717043005 the person at gerrys said she doesn't know why its saying forwarded to embassy which she confirmed embassy is Abu Dhabi it is still under process at the british high commission islamabad.

Abu Dhabi: 0097126101100 option 0 the person at Abu Dhabi Confirmed that the application is under process at british high commission islamabad.

Thats what I said but I think down to location, City and Guilds is better for them. 5-6 weeks is what they have been told for waiting time.

My Wife took the TOEIC test and didn't pass the speaking first time but did on second time. It just needs some practise. He will be fine Insha'Allah.

My wife submitted the passport on 6th Feb, after receiving the call in letter a few days before...

Still not heard back, should hear something in the next day or two.

I hope u do and same with me i emailed them of my wifes email address and they get bak to me saying you havent got the passport details we cant help you yet they have it themselves and they emailed her on that address and they cant check from there lazy gits im gna wait b a month this wednesday

Salaam All,

My wife received a call this morning at about 9.10am PK time that her passport was ready for collection.

Alhamdulillah, Tabarakallah she just literally collected now and it has been granted.
