Because I have married with EEA national for only over 3yrs and hold my RC for 3 years but I applied for PR based on (I have been living with my EEA national for 5 yrs and she has been exercising treaty right we have all the evidence).
HO advisor before told me that I dont have to be married 5 yrs or have RC 5yrs as long as we been together 5 yrs, so I'm confused why every1 says different!!!
Do u know anything about that.

I sent my eea2 application on feb 20, it was received by HO at 7:59am on feb 22. I have read by people on this forum that it will take 3-4 weeks to receive the COA. I'm waiting the 4 weeks, then I'll ring. Hopefully someone from early feb will post and let us know how they have got on :)

Same here. Sent EEA2 application on 20th Feb, received by HO on 21st and am now waiting. Will also wait the 4 weeks before getting in touch with the HO. Quite nerve wracking.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the COA is the first reply that HO sends out. If you sent your application by recorded delivery then the acknowledgement that your delivery was received is essentially an acknowledgement letter from HO.
