i have a small doubt if UKBA refuse our application and send letter after last date of PSW deadline do we have a chance to re-apply or to appeal for it ???????

any take on my situation guys?..its now been more than a month since i have given biometrics!!
any comments?
please let me know if you hear anything..

thanks

do you have your brp card and document now?
Still nothing :( i am getting very worried.. a lot is at stake for me!! :(
Equaliser.. what is your status?? hpw far have you reached or u hv already got ur visa??

I received a letter of approval dated 29th and I am yet to receive the biometry card. I need the card urgently. Called DX and the said they have nothing for me. Most people I know got theirs long time ago. I have contacted the home office and they only sent an automated message saying I will get it in the next 10 working days again. This service is crap despite the huge sum of money we paid. At least we deserve some transparency. I don't know what to do now cos I got a job which requires the card urgently ortherwise and can't start and I may even loose the job.

Exactly. the same thinmg..even i am not sure and would like to know if any one has any idea about the process after the PSW deadline (6th April. 2012)is over

Don't worRy guys I believe they will aprove it. PSW is very straight forward. Ueven if there is a problem with your bank statement and all. They will contact u. But even if the reverse is the case. I believe people can still appeal but I am not sure about making a fresh application after April 5th. But definately one can appeal.

I want to make few things clear for people still waiting for their BRP Card and APPROVAL LETTER;

I didn't sent any special delivery envelope to UKBA for return of my documents with my initial application. They sent me my documents back in 1st Class Recorded delivery in a very nice and secure packing as I had my degree and passports in them.

I received my documents and approval letter today i.e 09/03/2012 at 11:31 AM and received my BRP Card Letter at Approx between 13:30pm to 13:55pm on same day i.e 09/03/2012. Reason for I am not sure for time is I was in mosque for Friday prayer and my sister received it for me. The delivery guy just confirmed my full name from her and gave my letter of BRP Card to her.

I rang DX delivery yesterday i.e 08/03/2012 twice in morning and in after 13.00 PM because they get delivery in two different times, both times I was being told that we have neither received or dispatched any thing from your name.

Hope this helps!!! Please Do not Lose hope!! and Stay Positive!!

I can truly understand your frustration. I am also in the same fidgety situation. C from our side we have done everything and we just have to stick to that bcos nothing else can be done. We will get it. Did you try contacting the UKBA and ask them since you have applied in the early Jan. I did bio metrics on the 1 March and waiting for mine.

From what ppl have written Bio metrics done in the Post office usually takes 13-14 days. So just keep the faith.

all the best

According to UKBA after u receive ur approval letter with in 10 days ur biometrics should reach if not u can email them. Check out the UKBA website under biometrics for further information.

I had my invitation today at 12:40. Got inside at 12:10 and was called for finger prints and stuff at 1:40ish... which barely took 5 mins and then waited again for more than an hour really for them to tell me that I can leave. So, friends I thankfully managed to travel in off-peak which is why I asked earlier about this timing.
Anyway, done with biometrics now and waiting for BRP and documents.... :)

Graduation Ceremony tomorrow and joining a new job day after... QUITE a happening week for me... :)

Guys..
also.. for those who havent heard abnything after giving ur biometrics..here's something that u can do.:
Check this link: http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A ... =OAQGn0N3Y and Mail: BRPDelivery@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk ur details of application and ask for contact details of ur case worker.. yes ur case worker..

reply frm this mail will not tell u any status of ur application since they only deal with delivery issues of BRP but they can provide u with the name and postal contact of ur case worker (the individual person working on ur case).. and u can contact him/her in writing.. i dunno if thats advisable or not..but u can if u want to..

i hope this helps
they wouldnt gv u any phone numbner or email address but a postal addres.. so u will hv to write a post to him asking him the status of ur application
