As far as I know they are looking back exactly 3 years from the day you apply for naturalization. If you are not in the country at that exact date (even if you were out just for a week), then you fail to qualify. You need to think about when they will receive your application and whether you were in the country 3 years before that date.

Wife and daughter's passports arrived with ILR vignettes this morning!!!

Returned by next day special delivery so presumably sat around the office for a couple of weeks until they could be bothered to post it back.

Letter of complaint will be sent tomorrow!

1. Can you please let me know how many applications home office received for ILR for Set M and Set 0 category in dec 2011?
Q 2. how many people had granted Visa for Dec 2011 application only.
Q3 . How long it takes when HO to approve SET M application by someone 's request expediting letter ?
Q4 What is process flow for case from Durham to Liverpool to Dispatch?( Means why it takes 6 months) .

The UK Border Agency holds the information you have requested but it is not recorded centrally but held within individual files. I have just come back home from work and found Royal Mail we missed you card. Apparantly it's a letter and recorded signed for. I am not expecting anything else so it should be from Home Office. I am so happy. I have to leave some time to go and collect it because it might not be back at the delivery office yet. But as soon as I collect it, I will let you know. I am so happy, almost crying.
