Address for application (T1 extension)

Hi,

Another question.. a fairly unique circumstance.

I have been abroad for some time, and am now back in the UK in time for T1 renewal (no problem with the requirements). However I have vacated my old residence, which is the one the UKBA would have on file.

It would be ideal if I can put my new residence for my application, but would the UKBA have any issues with that if I have only been here for a very short time? And will they ask for any proof of address?

I will be applying by PEO by the way, if that makes a difference.
