Post Office is not authorized to certify passport unless the person sitting at counter is qualified solicitorIf you only need the ID page - the post office do it reasonably and this was accepted for my mother in law's visitor visa.
If it's every page ... not them.
God it must be expensive in London, you can get every page in passport done for £10 up in YorkshireAny solicitor will do it for approx £5 per page.
Hi Kalvian can you pm me the solicter in east ham who can do it for £12. Cheers matekalvian wrote:Dear Londumpster
I think its better to go for certifying with Solicitor. I was in similar dilemma and found out that Post Office was charging 7.50£ and its not sure if its accepted by Home Office.
I enquired from solicitors and they charge around 8£ and i went to someone at Southall and East ham and he charged me 12£ for certifying UK passport BIO page and also other pages with visa stamping for India.
If you want i can give you contact number and website for solicitor which i used
Best of luck for your application
