I think u meant posted on 28/1/2012 as opposed to 28/2/2012 ! (ur Ack letter is dated 7/01/2012)
I think he has mentioned abt the Student Visa.

Hi Ppl,

Finally My Visa is " On It's Way" today i have checked my "next day deliver cover tracking number which i kept along with my application" in royal mail website and it's showing my Passport & Documents is going to deliver by tomorrow i will let u know about details by tomorrow morning

which tracking number did u use .. cos when i used my tracking number ... it just gives the update that the mail has been dispatched to ukba durham office

What is the visa date on your new visa. Is it the application date or somewhere in the middle, i.e., when it was processed. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Application Sent: Saturday 14th Jan 2012 (Royal Mail Special Delivery)

Application Received by UKBA: Monday 16th Jan 2012

Passport and Documents: 14th March 2012 ( Dated 13th March 2012)

Finally At last after waiting 60 Days ( exact 2 Months of Application Date & 22 Days After Biometric ) today morning i have received my Approved Letter and Started Counting for getting my BRP card any way i am happy with this letter at least i can make some of my further plans.

My case should give confidence, to whoever waiting for a long time.

Application sent by Special Delivery: 7th of December.

Application recieved by UKBA: 8th of December.

Biometrics Letter received: 24th of January ( Never got an acknowledgement letter, sent a letter and fax to the croydon office in the mid january, requesting acknowledgement and biometrics letter)

Biometrics given: 1st of february in Glasgow Office.

Called them in-between to know about the status, same answer" Wait for 6 months"

Approval letter received : 13th March ( Enclosed a special delivery envelope, i was able to track it online and found out they have sent out the documents )

Biometric card: Waiting.

Thanks for this forum, which was very helpful. Waiting is such a painful thing, and hope my case gives everyone a confidence.

Hope everyone gets it soon.

I posted on the 3rd Feb...received acknowledgment 1 week later..and still waiting for some further news...I think we should receive some response in the next couple of weeks...

when i gave the biometric... the lady asked What will you do when u get the biometric..I said I will go back to my country immly ...
I think this is the reason they are delaying my VISA ..
they just want me to stay here and extinguish my finances ... before I go home :x

Hi PPL,

Can any one have any idea about how long it is taking to get BRP card after getting Approved letter i am planing to go my home country by 20th of this month if it gets delay my flight charges are not less than £600 so if anyone have any idea about this. please share it PPL

they wouldnt gv u any phone numbner or email address but a postal addres.. so u will hv to write a post to him asking him the status of ur application
Have you tried this and if yes, did you get the positive response? Were you able to track your application status? What if they find it annoying?

Hey guys submitted on the 20th Jan

I did Bio metrics on the 1 march.

did not get any confirmation letter.

approved and Received my passport and documents dated 14 th march today.

Waiting on my Biometrics card.

I think its finally coming to an end. Cheers

acknowledgement letter: 27 jan
biometeric letter recieved: 29 feb
biometeric given: 29 feb
still waiting for passport and documents
i really getting worried
i have to go back home emergency back there
kindly can anyone one told me how to withdraw an application

FINALLY received approval letter and passport today. Some cases do take longer than two weeks after biometrics.

Acknowledgement letter rcvd 18Jan (dated 17Jan)
Biometric letter rcvd 16Feb (dated 14Feb)
Biometrics given at Durham PO 20Feb
Approval and passport rcvd 15Mar (dated 13Mar)
BRP waiting
