Just reading the above, I will be sending my documents to my wife in a few days' time pending her IELTS results. I have had an inspection report done from a local estate agent as the council does not offer this service. After reading the above, just a bit concerned as to why should the estate agent report not be used.

Yaar, one of my friend did it from Asian Estate Agent, the Immigration Officer objected only that Inspection Report. Otherwise it is OK.
@ BatleyKhan: It is important document suggested by our Solicitor. If you have, it is good enough.

Costs £50-£70 depending on where you live, get a title deed as well for the property to get the housing side of things out of the way.

You'll be spending £850 for the VISA application, plus £200 for other bits and bobs. Things like this, English tests in Pakistan and TB Tests.
You ( or preferably the owner of the house can get copies of title deeds of the property) simply by going to the Land Registry website and download the two reports for £8 only

http://www.landregistry.gov.uk/www/wps/portal/!

Click on the end tab: Find a property......then type in your house number and postcode, pay the fee and it will download it to your email address
Batleykhan

Would this downloaded copy be acceptable to uk a, or do they need an official copy?

expedite call letter after successful appeal isalamabd

Post by rizvis2 » Tue Mar 13, 2012 8:23 pm

hi everyone..i have been following this board for quite sometime and gained a very useful information.

i applied for a spouse visa in march/2011 which was refused in august/2011 and then appeal was allowed in jan/2012.

i received the determination letter form the AIT on 19th jan and still waiting for the call letter from BHC islamabad.

I did read here sometime ago that if you write embassy they can send you the call letter quickly..

Can anyone please advise how to contact BHC islamabd to get the call letter quickly..

Salam guys once your spouses are here if there is anything you are not sure of or require information on i.e. how to apply for provisional licence or how to apply for NI number, please feel free to ask me. I will assist you, Insha'Allah. Also I know exactly what documents you will need to send off when you apply and what you could expect etc.. Good Luck to all those waiting, may good news come your way very soon! Ameen! :D

As far as I am aware I know of a lot of people who have sent these lately and have been granted visa. At no time has someone being refused for not having original copies. Anyway the copies at the land registry office are the same one as your solicitors as it is the land registry office who issues them and registers them and then pass them to your solicitors for their files.

If you are concerned about it, then go and see your solicitors and get it of them. Their cost will be much higher than the £8.

I think the land registry office is a bit suspicious with Asians because of what some of them do with copies of these deeds as per this story

Insha'Allah sis

His visa was only submitted on the 09/03/2012 and there are many people on here who applied 1-2months before me and are yet waiting to hear something.

I am just taking one day at a time now, I have my hubby and things are Alhamdulillah so much better and that is what keeps me going even though deep down the distance is killing us both and it is very frustrating.

I dont track my application everyday either because on many people signatures it changes to under process after 2weeks of submitting.
