Dependent staying alone on dependent visa

Hi All,
I'm on dependent visa but have a job now and am working and self dependent financially(though i'm on dependent visa). My wife who has work permit will be returning back to her country. Meanwhile I will be applying for HSMP.
Though my wife goes back can I stay here on dependent visa for as long as visa is valid ?
Is it a must that mywife(whose dependent I am) should also be here. As said anyway i'm financially independent and I have enough funds to support myself til the term of my visa.

I'm neither, but I believe that you need to get yourself sorted out before your wife leaves. I doubt very much that that expiry date means anything at all once the WP holder departs or, for that matter, stops being a WP holder.
