So my brother, very informative. Theres no point calling the pakis, because they just put on the automated message and no point ringing Gerry's because they just have access to what we have on the on-line tracker.

Im pretty patient so I've been waiting. But for those impatient people its worth a try.
That is the same as what the tracking website shows.

Hay sis you should have just used a £1 phone card to ring them and it wouldnt have killed all your credit.

If I need to ring them I have no idea how I am going to manage as I cant speak on the phone to some random people, I have just about got used to ringing and speaking to hubby x

Salaam all

i just need some advise about how to go about and write the sponser letter

i know you have to include
•Describe how , where and when you met each other
•Details of marriage ceremony etc
•Details of how you kept in touch with each other after marriage
•Who , why , when and where we decide to spent your married life together
has anyone got any templates on how to write this for an arranged marriage?
any help much appreciated

Salaam again.

Also i have another issue i need advise on.

i got married in march 2011 in pakistan and have no proof of communication till december 2011 as i was unaware i had to keep any proof until dec 2011 when i read this forum and found out what to do  i know my dumb mistake for not looking at this forum earlier

Now should I mention in the covering letter I was using other forms of comminacation before dec 2011 and i have no proof of it or should i not mention nothing and hope there dont pick up on that i have no proof of contact between the 8months of march 2011 and dec 2011.

Thanks

On the covering letter, write that you were communicating via phone cards or whatever you used, and you switched to using a sim because you realised that you need show proof of communication, hence why there is no recorded communication before. I dont see that being a problem. Make sure you submit photos and if you have sent money via transfer, send those receipts in.

@tnt4ever
Best of Luck, Allah makes easy for you. I found only one problem in your case otherwise superb. The best way is to make duaa yourself and pray tahajjad ask Allah (SWT); like our Sahabis did. Whenever they found any problem or food shortage; they directly asked Allah (SWT). E.g. Incident of grinder of Flour (Atta).

Consider this Hadeeth of the prophet (SAWS): The Prophet (saws) said:

Whenever you make a supplication for another believer and he is not present, an angel will say ‘and same to you.’

SubhanAllah :)

Here is a useful site:

http://www.work-day.co.uk/

Please use it to calculate how many days have passed for yoru application and when you'll hit the 60 mark. It's once you hit the 60 day mark you should start raising issues with them.

You'll find that almost all of us who have applied, have not hit the 60 day mark. I'm on day 47.

On left hand side, after you've enetered your two dates, which be the normal days and the working days. You're interested in the working days.

It has gone very quite now.

I honestly think you all should stop worrying and keep calling up the embassy about your visa if it has not been the full 60 working days, only then you can raise your concern about the visa.

Please dont take it the wrong way, only those who have appealed and are waiting to have their decisions overturned should be the ones ringing up to find out.

Where's our trust in Allah taa'ala gone? Have faith and be pateint for I know it is a very difficult time. I have been away from my hubby for nearly 2 years now.

May Allah answer our du'aas and grant our husband/wives their visa Aameen
