Ankara anlasmasi & ILR

Post by vikem » Sat Jun 11, 2011 12:25 am

Would it be possible to apply for ILR if you have got Ankara Anlasmasi worker visa for the last 2 years, however have been in the UK for over 10 years. Could you apply due to long residency?

Hi,

It depends on your Ankara Anlasmasi status. Home Office generally give 1+3 years visas before applying to ILR. Some times they can give 2+2, it depends on your business and they are deciding about the durations.

Result, you must complete totally 4 years with Ankara Anlasmasi, your background is not important. Because you'll show them that you can earn money with a job that you submitted.

There are two types of AA visas.

1) TR businessperson - you need to be in this category for 4 years to be eligible to apply for ILR

2) TR worker - you do not qualify to ILR under this visa category. But what you can do is go through "10 years legal" route if you stay on this visa for 10 years.

Hi,

If you have been living in UK consecutive 10 ys on visa, excluding tourist visas, you would be eligible to apply for ILR Long Residency.
