A Big Mistake in SET(O) form Tier 1 General

Post by mustang390 » Wed Mar 14, 2012 11:49 am

In Set (O) Form on the

" SECTION 9 - TIER 1 POINTS SCORING ASSESSMENT
E. UK Experience Assessment.

E1. Please confirm whether you wish to claim points for your UK experience:

Yes 5 points – go to Section 11 - Documents

No 0 points - go to Section 11 – Documents "

Where it says Go to Sction 11 Documents it Should be "Go to Section 10 Biometrics" Dont skip section 10 (Like I did :o)

You should have looked up the new forms thread before filling out your form.

I fully agree with you that since it is a mistake in the form, members are not at fault. I suggest that you send a letter explaining this. At least your side will be covered. Wait and see in this case is not proper strategy

I think one can supply more information even after applying. So if you think there is some correction required then one can inform UKBA after application.

The ILR Guidance Notes reads for sending more information about your application :

17 CONTACTING US AFTER YOU HAVE APPLIED
If you need to contact us after you have applied, please do so as follows.
To send us more information about your application, write to the following address (not the one to which you posted your application):
UK Border Agency
Liverpool Settlement Casework
PO Box 306
Liverpool
L2 0QN

and give the following details in your letter:
- the applicant’s full name, date of birth and nationality
- any Recorded or Special Delivery number
- the date on which the application was posted, made
in person or delivered by courier
- the Home Office reference number if you have one.
