Hello
I am a Turkish Citizen on a Tier 2 visa and received Child Benefit from October 2009 till October 2011. I need to extend the visa soon. I know Turkish citizens can legally claim CB, but nowhere on the online application form can I explain this. The question is "Are you receiving or have you ever received public funds?". I no longer do, but in the past I legally did, so I click yes. But then how do I make it clear that it was legal.

I fear that the application may be rejected just I clicked Yes there, as they may not look into the details of it.

Any suggestions welcome!

Print out the the paper form instead.
