Plz help me in previous earning calculation

Post by paramjit2k » Wed Nov 08, 2006 5:00 pm

In 12 months, I worked for 3 employers.

Out of 12 months, Only 1 month is from 3rd employer. It is Dec 2005. Now in Dec 2005, 3rd employer paid me Dec 2005 Salary + Notice Sal upto 15 Feb.

On Jan 22, I joined my 2nd employer.

Now question arises is,

1. Can I include my notice period salary in the 12 months previous earning period?

2. Idealy speaking, Even I worked upto Dec 2005, Notice Salary is also one that I have earned, 3rd employer has provided me Full and final statement.

3. Only thing, notice period is upto Feb 15, i joined other job by Jan 22, they also paid me salary.

Please suggest, Is it OK.

Hello Pemjit, Please be clearn in what you are saying, your statements are very confusing and complex. be specific while taking abt employers and salary, hope u will get help.

otherwise as per my understaning, u should be able to include you all salary statements for your last 12 months sal bec you workd for that even if you work for two co panies in one months but each were for diffrent time period. means firlst half n econd half month.

Regards

Hi paramjit2k

Because notice salary is technically paid in advance and is for a period in the future I can see why you would be unsure on this one.

My bet would be though, that because this salary was paid to you and taxed in the period which qualifies for salary recognition then I would be fairley sure that you would be fine to include this and it will be considered for the 12 month period. Probably best to get a definitive answer though but since you are applying anyway I dont see any reason to worry.

hi mike..

Thankx for response...I know i m little over-precautious..but i see rejection rate in increasing..that too in some genuine cases also...

And without that notice pay inclusion, i can't score 75 points...well let see what happens...

be crystal clear while you are applying.
apply through a solicitor as your case is litigated with a confusion.
write a covering letter what has happened very very very clearly.
these guys easily get upset with confusing things.
as long as your bank statment shows properly your company names, you will be all right.
cheers

Hi..tx for the answer...

I know they get confused easily...Thats i m attaching a CA report also...

Full n Final settlement r always done through cheque in big MNC's...But i have got a letter from the company that this cheque no with XXX amount was paid as full n final settlement on this date...The company is well known throughout the globe...

Aprt from that...i have stamped and signed...1. full n final settlement 2. Tax deduction sheet from the company (Form 16) 3. Bank statement showing entry of same cheque number...
