Booking PEO - other options? Good law firm to recommend?

Post by kumar17 » Thu Mar 22, 2012 10:24 pm

It is still very difficult to book a PEO date for the qualifying period after the 02/05/2012. So i am considering an option where I could get a lawyer to submit the application same day. Is it true that most law firms with UKBA licenses have daily or weekly times they can turn up at the PEO and have their applications processed? If this is true, what is the typical amount they would charge to carry the documents and do the application.

Thank you all.

Hi kumar17

What you're saying in your post that was the case before 29th Feb 2012 now UKBA has changed the rules and now every applicant has to book the appointment for their selves due to the Biometric process.

You can do consult the Lawyers but they're really expensive any where up to £1200 excluding the PEO fees.

Good luck for your ILR.

Smam,

Thank you very much. I still cant believe the UKBA makes everyone stress about appointments like this. They much know how people struggle to get dates and then make arrangements for them this to be sorted. I have now been on the phone for over 30mins (0870 606 7766) listening to nothing - cant get through to anyone.

Anyone got the same problem?
