!@hena sis.did your status change twice in one month?because you got one update on 3.3.12 and one 4.03.12

its a shame that king2be hasn't replied back. I mean e did have some good answer but his last dey comments about us writing dua were just wrong.

Can someone pls tell me about gerry opened on weekends cause most of our updates have been on weekends.

BUT .....my huby did the tb test on thursday and he's gna submit passport on this monday..so i dnt think he was able to do both on same day

it wud've been easier, quicker, cheaper and less of a hassle if he cud've done both

my pooor huby gota make the 3 hour journey AGAIN ..ufffff

thanks, there should have a website where you can view the locations of the test centres for the tb test, but i cant seem to find one or there have not got one

im not mirpurii either it takes me 4 hours to travel to mirpur, so would have been better if it all could have been doen on the same day

hmm true..but if u email them with ur details and which city u wan do the test, then they wil provide u wiv informaiton etc..

mayb they do hav a webpage for TB but god knows..?..my days r over searching 'immigration immigration immigration visa visa visa' and all the rest of it...every single day man lol...i was goin crazyyyyyyyyy!!...

yeah wen i checked the status on the 3/03/12 it was to bhc and next day when everyones changed mine changed to embassy on the 4.03.12. so thats y confused what happend there:(

Very helpful, I didnt know the full process of what goes on, so I am in the second stage, where it is under process at BHC Islamabad then they are going to send it off to Abu Dhabi?

I thought it was already at Abu Dhabi, No?

I have a very long way to go yet and I must be the only apllicant on here who submitted the visa in March

I have a colleague who actually works for UKBA in terms of supporting the IT systems, anyways, he gives me a bit of info and lets me know what's the news of various things etc. He said they are extremely busy at this time of the year and it's post April that the backlog of applications across the board starts to ease slightly. This is based on activity over the past 4 years. The Christmas holidays and soon after is the peak period. I speak to him most days and he says the same things to me as I say to you, do not worry. They will get back to you before your 60 days are up.

So you guys really need to stop worrying, you will get a response very soon now. I know I said 10-15 working days, who knows, it could be slightly more, but until you hit your 60 workind day mark, don't worry.

Why are you not asking your UKBA friend about the procedure. Whether all the applications go to BHC or some goes to Abu Dhabi? I think he will at least tell u about this.

Not sure which way around it is, but one or the other department of the home office is responsible for checking the documentation and the authenticity of it. However some of it does comes under the Data Protection Act. What he said and it seems to be backed up with the status changes is that one department is responsible for checking the Pakistan document side of things like marriage registration and issuing the VISA and the embassy in Abu Dhabi is responsible for the other side of things. In the past they've combined both of these into one status change online, but recently they've included this as you can see from the number of people with that status change on 4 March. It seems to be backed up as the applications have clearly been sent to Abu Dhabi in a bundle.

It used to be a case of the BHC in ISB doing everything, but not anymore.

Everyone will almost certainly get called to collect their passports within a couple days of each other.

I agree with your point of view. But as per my working and understanding; some applications go to BHC or some goes to Abu Dhabi. Obviously there is a check and balances by Islamabad Embassy and Abu Dhabi & vice versa. Allah knows the best.

They are really too busy owing to coming changes in the Immigration Law implementing from 06 April 2012. Most of the people applied after Christmas and obviously before April in order to meet the requirement of present immigration rules and regulations.

But we have to wait till our turns come around.

Let me clarify there is a backlog of applications at this time of the year.
No procedure has changed.

The processing of applications is exactly the same.

Dont get confused about the new status "your application has been forwarded to the embassy for processing".

All applications have gone to abu dhabi for final decision in the past. Its just the status never used to change before it always remained "under process at the british high commission" but now they inform us when were at last process step in abu dhabi.

As bro king2be98 says wait till 60 working days for the good news inshallah
