EC from Pakistan, How long does it take ?

EC from Pakistan, How long does it take ?

Hi,
I have applied for my EC from Pakistan on 18th October after getting my HSMP approval letter.

It has been over 3 weeks but I havnt had any news.

Has anyone applied for EC from Pakistan recently or during past few months? I just need to know how long they usually take for an EC application.

4-6 weeks is pretty normal

Thanks alot for the reply. Can you please also confirm me if this timeframe is for the EC for HSMP ? Cuz a friend of mine got UK visit visa in just 2 days.

and also if you or any of your friend have also applied for EC from Pakistan ?

On 09 Oct documents submitted with Gerys at Lahore.EC as HSMP was stamped on 23 Oct and passport was returned on 30 Oct.
There can be delay if verification is carried out.

on website it is written it will take 12 working days. I am amazed that why it took long for them to decide on EC

Did you try to contact the British Embassy while waiting for your passport back?

Anyone else has anything to share on this topic ?

on website it says it takes 24 hrs to process visa application.
i think its wrong.
how long it will take more to process visa from islamabad
