As the clocks are going forward this weekend. Will this unfortunately affect our applications to get delay further especially for Set(O)- JR..

Long residency/ 10 years student
Applied on 25/2 2012
HO Receive app 28/2/2012
Acknowledgement letter receive3/3/2012, dated 29/2/2012
Payment was done by postal order
Waiting over 3 weeks

Thanks in advance
Hi Lovelyislovely
I can't add you to the list, as, if I'm not mistaken, this is the list of people applying for ILR but excl. 10/14 years. There is a different waiting list created for the ILR applications, long residency category. The reason might be that the waiting time differs from group to group and then the topic stops being useful as it doesn't give the accurate information. Sorry for that.
Ok! No prob,

Thanks loads for reminding me.
All for one, one for all..... Peace

[quote="VN"]Hi guys, here is the updated list. So far, not much good news this week, so let's hope we receive some more positive outcomes during the next couple of days.
We have some members here who have been waiting for over 26 weeks now. Could you guys update us on your situation? Any news whatsoever?

Many thanks VN for updating the list!

Anyone has gotten good news this week for Set (O) JR ?

I am in the top of Set (O) JR now, no news at all, it's a straightforward case, don't understand why? I had completed a project last Thursday and will have a month holiday, however, I cannot go out just afraid in case ukba needs me to provide more information (I suppose I provided all the documents they needed though).

What a long and painful waiting!

Congratulations to all of those who got their ilrs this week!

Hi,

1st of all thanks to all for the most useful info on this forum - wish I had found it earlier! So yes I've been a silent reader on this forum.

If you could add me to the list that would be great. I've applied for SET(O) (HSMP + Tier 1 general)

Application date: Tue 21/02/12
Application received: Wed 22/02/12
Money debited: Thur 23/02/12
Acknowledgement letter dated: 23/02/12 (received a couple of days later)

I agree that it feels like we're being punished. We don't have to fill half as many pages of the application as a regular Set[O] applicant, and don't have as much evidence to provide. How can ours take longer? And yes the home office go by calendar months (as they told me when I called) so April 14th would be your cut-off date.

Hi, Oct 2011,

You are right, this should be a good week for people in Set (O) JR group,
I sent an email to ukba in 12:40 today and received reply from the case worker within 30 mins, he said "Further to your below request, I have looked into your application and you should receive the decision made on your application in the next 10 days"

So most people in the top of JR group should get good news within 2 weeks.

Hi, Onlyifknew & Saiprabu111,

The email address I used is settlementopspolicy@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk, they should forward your email to the case worker, please give them your reference number in your acknowledgement letter. good luck!
