sssm- so I am guessing they haven't told you if you are approved or not?
Did they tell you that they can't disclose that information to you?

Can someone please advise what would be the reason? Ican't see any flaw in this letter.

I'm now waiting for docs and then i'll go for review. Also, how much time it take for a review?

Thanks,

JD,
Key is in Job responsibilities what you listed.. If they are not convincing that it is graduate level they use to reject it.. also since Customer support Engineer is not in their list of Graduate level post, roles you are listing plays an important role

dont worry, anyway try for a review

I came across this forum recently

I am an IT professional with more than 7 years of experience.

My case was rejected twice by Home office on experience letter format. Once of the reasons I wanted to post here was may be some one will benefit from my experience (I am still not able to understand my mistakes though)

I had claimed 35 points under experience as I had 5 years+ graduate experience and two years as a manager in large top 5 MNC.

I had submitted following evidence,

-Experience letter from latest organization detailing my roles and responsibilities
-Organizational chart
-Org chart of present assignment overseas
-Appointment letter
-Increment letters
-Detail breakdown of my present duties and to whom I report
-Apart from above I had submitted appointment, experience & service letters, org chart with my roles and responsibility letters from my previous employers

My first application was rejected as experience letters did not have duties and responsibilities Sad

Today I received my second rejection letter saying we did not consider evidence you provided. Crying or Very sad

It is so agonizing considering the high cost of application and the time one wastes. I had also given offer letter from my new UK employer which had salary at a very top bracket at my level.

Despite all this I had received negative response which made me wonder 'Are they genuinely interested in candidates who want to contribute to their society and what significance they give to applications. I feel I am robbed. At the cost of expenses some family in poor country would have survived for almost entire year.'

Despite all this I want to submit request for review letter, I do not want to loose my hard earned money without reason.

I request you all to please suggest what I should include in my review letter. Any help is highly appreciated.

sachin
Dear Sach,
Very sorry to hear your result.

But you know one thing? even OISC registered consultants were scared to claim senior level / specialist level work experience

Even I have 6 years experience with 1 year experience as Project leader

I asked my consultant, Can I claim 5 years Graduate level & 1 year Senior level

He Replied "If you can get 65 points by 4 years Graduate level, Dont claim Senior level"

He also said that Success % in Senior level claiming is not even 10% how much ever genuine it is is, he told

At last I submitted by application by claiming only 5 years of Graduate level exp (result didnt came yet)

Sach dont worry, Under new system of points there is no experience criteria at all, It has only earning , Qualification & age as important criterias. If you are getting 75 points in that then dont worry, apply under that new scheme by December
Thanks Hari. I do qualify even with new rules. I had given my TOEFL and got 600+ in paper based exam. Well I doubt if my review request would be of any use. I dont know success rate for reviews and appearantly review request would be of no use. Any pointers for what points I must highlight. I am happy even if they justify rejecting my case. May be senior level experince could not be considered but alteast the graduate experience should have been considered.

Thanks.
sach

Best would be to forward a new application under the new regulations if you do qualify .

One thing is sure that we cant be sure of approval until we get that. Because if they decide to reject they will reject on any silly reason

Dolphin,
Did your previous letter head had employer's address in it and Employer's Name & emblem (if any) in big size?

I Think paper quality also matters... If our letter head is in normal printing paper, they are getting doubt and used to reject

the paper quality was good (bond paper)
there was employers proper heading address evertg
but still this is the reason i was given

Hello Friends, I have some Good news to share with all of you. I got my HSMP approved :D :D :D

Here's the details: (In Country Application)
First Application rejected on the basis of Employee Reference Letter. And I took care of this part in the 2nd application and got the approval. And to my surprise, I got this with in 2 weeks. Here's the timelines:

Application Sent: 28th October 2006
Application Received: 30th October 2006
Received Ref No & CC Charged: 31st October 2006
Got Approval : 8th November 2006
Documents Received: 10th November 2006

Thanks a lot for all the help provided to me and now I am looking forward for the next stage (FLR).

Someone please tell me if I can use the old FLR form or a new one? I saw the new FLR form and guidance, and it says that it is valid after November 8. Please advice.

Dear Hsmp_Candidate

Heartiest Congrats :D :D :D .. and how fast it is for you :o .. Great!!

Can you please throw us more light on why your first application was rejected and what rectification you did in second application? That will help all here

I am also an Incountry applicant - workpermit holder. Claiming points only for age, qualification & experience (exactly 65) and not claiming any point in earning.. My CC charged on 19th still not alloted to caseworker :( .. I am worried on what will be my result.. Because I cant reapply if it fails as the scheme itself is over now :(

Thanks hari15. The reason my first application got rejected was that I didn't provided reference covering the entire 5 year experience. And the refusal letter clearly stated that I need to submit the reference letter and appointment letter/contract letters are not accepted. Infact the same thing was mentioned in the case worker's manual. So in the second application, I ensured to get the references covering the whole 5 year period and on the company letter head. Also I ensured that it has start and end dates with job title and job responsibilities as specified in the case worker's manual.

And do not worry about assigning it to case worker, as it won't take much time once it is assigned(based on my experience). And now that they need to clear the backlog, hopefully you get a positive response soon.

ALL THE VERY BEST.

Can anyone guide me how to send Urgent treatment form?

I have a genuine reason for my urgent treatment . My contract in UK is getting over by next month (I am now in workpermit). Based on this hsmp result only I can decide on whether to stay here further or to leave UK

Can I just fax the urgent treatment form with that reason? Is that enough?

Thanks

The guidance notes clearly state under which conditions UT will be considered. Without a job offer, I do believe they'll think you are pushing your luck...
