Hello All

I got HSMP TIER1 (GENERAL) VISA valid from june 2010-2013 ,but i paid the visa fees through VFS office on 28 march 2010 before the rules got changed.
So could you pls tell me whether i will be covered under the rules before april 6 th (75 points )or the rules after 6th april(80 points) while i apply for an extension

Thanks for your response....so it means the all the rules before 6 april 2010 will be applicable,but how is that i can prove that i have applied in march 2010..?...beacuse my visa start date is june 2010...any views on it...

Did you claim your point on education for bachelors/masters ? if you only have bachelors degree and claimed points for it then for sure they have considered rules after april 2010..( because this was the major change which came into effect after april 2010)

No i have cliamed my points through masters degree only ...and i got visa for three years.....beacuse if they have considered rules after april 6 2010 i should get visa for 2 years...

Though the rules were for after 6th April 2010, you had applied before that, and you do not have to prove anything for that. The day you posted your initial Tier 1 application to the HO is the date you applied, which is much before the change in Rules.
Also if you read the Attributed for General Tier 1 (second link in my previous post) points number 7 and 8, it will be clear that you have got your Visa before July 2010, hence you will need only 75 points. (actually you more or less fall under the same immigration rules which applied to you on your initial application, but for peace of mind the points 7 and 8 will give you a clear understand :) )
