Post by learner12 » Wed Mar 28, 2012 3:40 pm

Hi All,
I have got my ILR in Oct'11 and married in Nov'11. my wife arrived in UK as a ILR dependent.
I may eligible to get a BC end of this year. my question is...
when ever i am trying to apply for BC, do i have to include my wife application or no need? my wife visa status will be changed or stay same ?
thank you.

I suggest you read Q1 & Q2 in the sticky FAQ - most common questions.

Before i posted this thread, i red the topic which you suggested me.
I coudn't able to find my answer there.
My immigration status: ILR
My spouse status : Denpendent
I am going to be eligible for BC end of this year. While applying my BC application, do i have to include my spouse info. My spouse immigration status will be changed, once i get granted BC?
Thank You.

Sorry. Misread your post as that your wife already has ILR.

No change in your wife status as the 27 months spouse visa I assume she has is for both partners of ILR holders and BC.

You do need to include your wife details in the application form in the relevant sections but that should not affect the decision.

Thank You.
Yes, indeed. she has got 27 months visa as a dependent. you mean i no need to apply any changes for her immigration status while i am going for BC?
Thanks.
