Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan

Hi all

All first time applications have not heard this week either a very dull week for us. I do think we will all hear very soon inshallah keep the duas all the time everyone.

I do however feel that all those applicants who have passed there 60 working days should all contact the abu dhabi embassy by phone or email and discuss the outcomes of the reply on the forum.

Everybody congratulate me I got my papers submitted finally.

Peepzz no more negativity conclusion nufin gonna change wots gonna happen gonna happen we only gonna make our selves ill so yahoooooo spring is here enjoy the lovely sun and the fresh air.

Quick question,

When u have to submit your passport after an overturned appeal is is normal for them to ask for the sponsors passport photocopy also...?

Plus, when I applied, the passport copy that I gave was different to my current passport because I lost it and got it replaced .. Am I better off sending old passport photocopy and new ones with a letter explaining or....??? I just don't want them to make an excuse and prolong the process..!

Any help would be appreciated.. x

Hi. I dont know why you application is not forwarded to embassy most people has gone to embassy, As far as im aware all applications should go to embassy as decision is made by them not BHC. Dont worry inshallah yours will go to embassy very soon my duas are with you

my case hasnt gone to embassy i emailed abu dhabi embassy and they said they are not handling my case and my case is being handled by their collegues in pakistan!! i think the strong cases stay in islamabad nd the onez they r not sure about after being looked at islamabad go to abu dhabi!! this is what i think but not sure!! Apparently my case was strong!! Inshallah we shud all get a reply bak soon wid some good news!!

If processing times were like last year sep-Nov then surely we would have got replies within a month.

I think currently all cases will get responses between 8-12 weeks and no eariler.

i hope so! cos i did read somewhere that they make decisions at BHC!

I was told by another friend they should all 'go to embassy', so im really confused!

we cnt do anything but wait!! time goes really slow but eventually will pass, just have to be patient!! islamabad replied bak to my email saying we r currently processing settlement cases within 41 working days??? dnt know how true is that because a lot of people r waiting nd its been nearly full 60 working days for some of them!! its been 38 working days for me!! stil got about another 4-5 weeks till my 60 working days

omg dnt say that! You giving other people and me more stress.everyone cases are strong on this forum. I genuinely work and everything.you got me worried now. Hena sis your cousin got their visa and There said forwarded to embassy. I hope what your sayingis not true.may Allah grant me and everyone our spouse visa. ameen

i didnt mean that but the cases which are not straight forward i think they send to abu dhabi!! doesnt mean anything negative!! its best they get everything checked before they make a decision even if they have to double check!! dnt stress sorry i didnt mean it that way!! probably just giving myself some hope

Me and my husband got married in uk nikha, registration but we still have to go same thing as need his status to change.

ns99...YES ur hubby needs to submit his pasport, a copy of YOUR passport..IF I WAS U I WUD SEND HIM A COPY OF THE NEW ONE..
