Quite a few pages back or i think week and half back couple of members explained the BHC and embassy confusion quite well. Look out for Kingb posts and another poster can't recall the name.taniya sabeel wrote:Its okay it just that i am stressed out as it is. Rubbish, maybe 3 working weeks, which is just over a month, but I wish people didn't feed rubbish like that to you.zahra110 wrote:people i know have got it withing 3 weeks recently, but that was before xmas
king2be98 wrote:As I've stated many times, there is a massive increase in applications post Christmas in terms of Settlement Spouse VISAs, this is a common patter every single year.
In terms of what Zahra is worried about, she really ought to not worry, the Islamabad applicants haven't got this status, this could be any number of reasons, perhaps a member of staff doesn't follow the same policy when it comes to status updates.
Think to your workplace, sometimes you will do the work and pass on to the next department, but you might forget to update a record. The other department receives the work, but since they are not responsible for updating the record with that status, it remains in the same status. Point is, you really need not worry about something minor like that.
Strong and weak cases is a rubbish statement, all cases are the same as far as I'm concerned and it's a case of luck really. There are people with close to no docs who get VISAs and there are many others who send their life stories and every chapter in between and get rejected.
Patience is the only thing I can advise. I can advise it because you'll see in the last 3 months, I have not once complained about the time taken, I put a date of 60 working days in my head and until then would not react. Many of us are coming up to our 60 day mark, for me this time next week. So please be patient.
In regards to comments about marrying here in the UK, well Zahar and the other sisters here, why don't you move as is tradition to where your husbands are, why do you have to bring your husbands here? If you married someone in the UK, never in a million years would they come to live with you.

Someone told me the same a while ago, I saw it as showing off and loads of people show off like that.
