Can someone please advise what would be the reason? Ican't see any flaw in this letter.
I'm now waiting for docs and then i'll go for review. Also, how much time it take for a review?
Thanks,

sad to hear. can u plz share ur profession and designation u mentioned in exp letters
Thanks Hari. I do qualify even with new rules. I had given my TOEFL and got 600+ in paper based exam. Well I doubt if my review request would be of any use. I dont know success rate for reviews and appearantly review request would be of no use. Any pointers for what points I must highlight. I am happy even if they justify rejecting my case. May be senior level experince could not be considered but alteast the graduate experience should have been considered.hari15 wrote:Dear Sach,sach1636 wrote:hi,
I came across this forum recently
I am an IT professional with more than 7 years of experience.
My case was rejected twice by Home office on experience letter format. Once of the reasons I wanted to post here was may be some one will benefit from my experience (I am still not able to understand my mistakes though)
I had claimed 35 points under experience as I had 5 years+ graduate experience and two years as a manager in large top 5 MNC.
I had submitted following evidence,
-Experience letter from latest organization detailing my roles and responsibilities
-Organizational chart
-Org chart of present assignment overseas
-Appointment letter
-Increment letters
-Detail breakdown of my present duties and to whom I report
-Apart from above I had submitted appointment, experience & service letters, org chart with my roles and responsibility letters from my previous employers
My first application was rejected as experience letters did not have duties and responsibilities Sad
Today I received my second rejection letter saying we did not consider evidence you provided. Crying or Very sad
It is so agonizing considering the high cost of application and the time one wastes. I had also given offer letter from my new UK employer which had salary at a very top bracket at my level.
Despite all this I had received negative response which made me wonder 'Are they genuinely interested in candidates who want to contribute to their society and what significance they give to applications. I feel I am robbed. At the cost of expenses some family in poor country would have survived for almost entire year.'
Despite all this I want to submit request for review letter, I do not want to loose my hard earned money without reason.
I request you all to please suggest what I should include in my review letter. Any help is highly appreciated.

Very sorry to hear your result.
But you know one thing? even OISC registered consultants were scared to claim senior level / specialist level work experience
Even I have 6 years experience with 1 year experience as Project leader
I asked my consultant, Can I claim 5 years Graduate level & 1 year Senior level
He Replied "If you can get 65 points by 4 years Graduate level, Dont claim Senior level"
He also said that Success % in Senior level claiming is not even 10% how much ever genuine it is is, he told
At last I submitted by application by claiming only 5 years of Graduate level exp (result didnt came yet)
Sach dont worry, Under new system of points there is no experience criteria at all, It has only earning , Qualification & age as important criterias. If you are getting 75 points in that then dont worry, apply under that new scheme by December
One thing is sure that we cant be sure of approval until we get that. Because if they decide to reject they will reject on any silly reasondolphin_m70 wrote:jd
i was in same situation
my first appl was rejected
i applied for review w8d anxiously for nearly 2 months to get a reply tht it has been rejected

Dolphin,
Did your previous letter head had employer's address in it and Employer's Name & emblem (if any) in big size?
I Think paper quality also matters... If our letter head is in normal printing paper, they are getting doubt and used to reject

First Application rejected on the basis of Employee Reference Letter. And I took care of this part in the 2nd application and got the approval. And to my surprise, I got this with in 2 weeks. Here's the timelines:
Application Sent: 28th October 2006
Application Received: 30th October 2006
Received Ref No & CC Charged: 31st October 2006
Got Approval : 8th November 2006
Documents Received: 10th November 2006
Thanks a lot for all the help provided to me and now I am looking forward for the next stage (FLR).
Someone please tell me if I can use the old FLR form or a new one? I saw the new FLR form and guidance, and it says that it is valid after November 8. Please advice.
