Guys I don't want to generate false hope and no one else should, so please don't give false hope to already impatient people.

But just know one thing, the UKBA have standards to meet all over the world, one of them is to process more than 95% of Settlement Spouse Applicants within 60 weekdays, that is date of submission to date it is ready to collect. They will need to respond to many applications in the next fortnight to meet those strict deadlines.

New rules

Post by Shatif » Mon Apr 02, 2012 11:25 pm

I'm just thinking this new rule having earnings more than 27500 or wot ever it is, this can't be fair r they trying to say people who earn less than that r not entitled to married life with a partner from abroad, it's everybody's human right to get married and live a life with their partner, can somebody share their opinion on this pls

It does to an extent breach human rights, as I'm sure the average person and their spouse can survive earning £1000 a month, however it wouldn't be a life of comfort or even luxury.

That said, it will probably hang for 5/6 months, before 1. it's reduced back to what it was, or 2. to somewhere in in between. Personally I think £15k should be the mark before tax is deducted.

With the easter weekend looming, giving it will about the 12/13th of April. Plus you need to go away and stop thinking about it for 2 months, this is the worst thing you can do so soon after applying, don't make the mistake others are by worrying so early on in the piece.

So hopefully applicants should be getting responses this month. Well the ones that applied in Dec and Jan.

I think the "60 day wait period"applies to majority applicants from pakistan.
Processing times are more quicker in India.

That should be fine as my nikkah nama had my fathers Pakistan address an passport had UK address altough it got refused this wasn't the reason for refusal.

Brother this is common
most of the times, almost 90+ cases are seen where there stupid gerry's people dont even bother to update about the application status where as the visa had already been stamped some where around 5 days, 10 days, even 12 days ago and passport dispached and waiting for collection

this is not new
its old and so many complaints had already been logged

keep patience, INSHALLAH everything will be fine

i hear planes passing over my head each 30 minute, can u imagine how its likely to be not being up there in the air...joking
