If u do use Dhl FedEx u can use the packaging as supporting evidence of contact that's what we did because it has senders name and recipients name and address

Through post not to sure really.
cant take them myself and cant give person reliable to take.

Thanks for the replies earlier :D
I had a few more questions..
Proof of contact- Does this need to be proof of contact you have had after marriage, or contact before marriage?
Can Text messages be used as proof if you do not have phone records.

Can the sponsor letter and copy of passport be certified by a solicitor in Pakistan or should it be done in the UK?

A few pages back someone mentioned a SU07/01 form, should this be used? I don't see this in the government website.

Thanks

Proof of contact is very important( both after and before) very important point, dont loose here...can create problems...
text messages emails skype facebook or any thing that happened...

sponsor letter once attested and verified by uk solicitor no more required

if you dont have phone records, generate till you going to submit your application.

application will be submitted on line, no more hassle, get through it

That's an application in a different country, there is every reason to believe that status updates are different all over the world. Each embassy and BHC deal with many different applicants from different local cultures, which is why perhaps they work to different times and processes.

I wouldn't even begin to think about applicants in other countries as their applications will have completely different proofs of local documents.

if its an arrange marriage (they ask you that in the form) then you dont need to provide evidence of contact before marraige.
after the marriage only if you've spent time apart from each other then evidence is needed. if u havnt then jus tell them you were staying at this place for this long, and if you have then give them as much evidence as you can i.e pictures, phone/text records, emails, skype records, reciepts of money tranfers or presents sent to each other, greeting cards , if the time spent apart was long and you visited Pk in the middle then your e-tickets and pages from passport showing the entry/exit stamps etc. all this might sound a bit too much but trust u me u wana bombard them with evidence when it comes to showing its a genuine marraige.

sponsor undertaking form or sponsor support statement donr need to be certified, copy of your bio data page from your passport should be certified from UK.

You'll stand in good stead even now if you do call them, but I am pretty sure you'll get a standard reply. However since you are over 60 days, they'll tell you whether yours is processed or not and more importantly how long till they send it back to the AC. Give it a shot, good luck.

well i applied back in Dec '11 at that time this whole forwarding to embassy status hadnt started.

I (applicant) studied in UK, some issue with my Uni fee led to refusal:( every single thing in my visa application and supporting documents was fine.

Well till a month ago all settlement visas were dealt in Abu Dhabi, i dont know if that has changed or not.
As for other reasons of refusal, if ur (sponsor's) finances i.e accomodation & Job is in the right place + u've given max info to show them its a genuine relationship + English test results are spot on U've got nothing to worry about.
