it is actually worse when you speak to them..All you get told is that it is still within the six months time frame and that if that time elapses then call us back.
How can they say its with dispatch one week then a totally different answer the next? My husband got his passport back last November to travel back home for a few weeks. This request was absolutely no problem and his passport was with us within five working days. They pointed out that we were NOT to return the passport unless they requested it to be. I know they have a six month timeframe and I know we shouldn't complain but it is such stress waiting. I know they are probably stretched in their resources but could they not provide some sort of service so that you can check online as to the status of the application? They seem to manage it with most other types of visa so why not this type?

Tell me about it

I dont understand why they cant use a small part of the money we pay in tax to provide these services seeing as most of us are not entitled to benefits

I hear you, and totally get what you mean and where you're coming from... hang in there, dear. There's a light at end of the tunnel.

Me and my wife are planning to soon make EEA3 & EEA4 applications. Can we do it together at the same time? Can the required documentation be used for both applications?

Hello psuch, you may be one of the lucky ones that get their coa sent off in 4 weeks and you receive it with 2 days.

best of luck
Hi,

I'd submitted my EEA2 form to Home Office = 17 Feb 2012
Form was delivered via Royal Mail on = 20 Feb 2012

I am now holding my EEA Family permit which expire on 22 April 2012.

I see the urgency to write to HO regarding my COA.
May I know which number should I call?
What email address should I write to?

Please advice. Thanks.
Hi all,
I'd email to LiverpoolEuro.PassportReturns@ukba.gsi.gov.uk on 20 March. No reply from them till now.
I've just called 0151 672 5626 ( Opt1, then 2).
But no one pick up my call.
Please advice.

We have sent the applications on 22nd December. Last week we have sent and e-mail and got the reply saying it has been allocated to the case team for a consideration.

Received by HO 10/08/11
COA sent received 25/08/11
