Can someone serious say that no one on this forum has received there ILR. since last week? It seems like the HO is planning to send out a big batch of passport at once, I think we should be getting some good news by the end of this week, fingers cross.

Stop stressing yourself my dear, expect ur passport end of May. u got along way to go...Some december people havent gotten their passort yet.
Perry254!

You maybe emotionally stronger than I am, and that's a good thing, anyway, thanks for reminding me that I should expect a 6 months wait.

Welcome to the club, you may get through quickly, I heard that people who applied after 28/02/2012, may get through quicker, as biometric will be done on applicants, making it easier for the HO, to decide cases on the application, good luck.

Hi Harikora!

I am incline to believe that they are under severe pressure, with the computers crashing regularly, I do feel for them, I was fed up with them before, but after giving it some thought, I really feel for them, when saying so, they need to employ more people to deal with the cases, no wonder so many mistakes are being made on applications, the case workers are being stretched to the limit, I read somewhere that it is 112 case workers dealing with the applications...... How can this be?????

Still waiting and very frustrated.

We feel trapped as we can't make plans to travel, and worried about complaining. I can not believe that it has taken so long to process our application.

Tuesday 10th April 2012. Our postman left a card today for my husband to collect from the sorting office. Fingers crossed we will have our ILR.
hopefully it will be the good news you been waiting for.........

1. There are applicants waiting for more than 5 months and the anticipated time is 6 months and you are within this limit.

Worth to apply for premium?

Post by Nelly » Sat Apr 14, 2012 4:27 am

I see everyone is waiting for a long time, I am about to apply very soon and am wondering if its worth it to apply for premium service (since olympics coming up and I hope I can travel back home in the very near future)?

And if I apply for this premium service, can I apply 28 days beforehand, just like what people do for postage?

And last question, do I need to complete section 11- consent for the uk border agency to request verification check, since i don't need to provide any bank letters?

I know there are a lot of questions. I am not sure if I am posted on the write topic.

But thanks a lot for all of you guys help in advance, and I am very much appreciated!

Hi Nelly, I think you dont read the Home Office guidelines well, there is no Premium service for 10 years Long Residency for Set O.

Unless you are on work permit my dear.Good luck and pliz sit down and read the guidance notes too...
