sw33tazra awww bless u. i can understand wen u say ur son is ur only strength right now. my hubby was told the exact same. the fedex/gerrys in lahore told him when he went to submit visa application that at the moment its not that busy at all and people are getting an answer within 4weeks. they told him he should hear sumthin within 4 weeks too... but 2 b honest i wouldnt want to listen to them coz they dont make the decision.i dont want to build my hopes up just yet. we just have to hope for the best n pray inshallah we hear something back soon. i hate the fact that the UKBA dont realise that they let all these immigrants get away with murder n people who r in a genuine relationship n do as the law/policy says, gets the refusal. i have complete faith in Allah n inshallah will make us all reunite with our spouses soon.xxxx

Easter weekend, so expect even more of a delay since it knocks ouut 2 working days and potentially a lot of staff taking extrea leave this time to get an ever longer time off.

As for those recent applicants joining, whoever told you it's not a busy time and you expect a 4 week response, they're clearly not telling the truth.

There many January applicants and several December applicants who are still waiting.

You need 6 months bank statements.

@sakman
You could say due to work commitments you were unable to travel back to visit. Maybe add that you were saving up money for the visa.

Especially since it costs so much :x

The fee is paid at the Application Centre, you can pay by cash or a bankers draft.

Hi all

Please dont do countdowns there is no guarantee with spouse visa processing times.60 working days is a guide. Please all learn from things there are some people whos 60 working days have passed and not had reply. Lets all just wait and do dua. Uk home office says it could take upto 120 working days. Im not saying this will happen but be aware that is a very long waiting process. Keep doing dua and lets hope for the best.
