it usually starts with the application centre where u submitted like my husband submitted in lahore:

it started with lhe/
then the date which u submitted for example today 090412/
then unique number which is usally 6 digits long with a / at the end
then a digit which is usually 1

so put it all together shud look like lhe/090412/******/1

something similar where did u submit ur application nd can u put it in ur signature the progress of ur application, hope that helps
:) :)
submitted @ lahore 07/02/12
waited 65 working days
Ready for Collection: 9/5/12
picking up 10/5/12
Visa Granted

would the format when tracking be KHI/123456/123456/1 including the forward slash?

@sakman
You could say due to work commitments you were unable to travel back to visit. Maybe add that you were saving up money for the visa.

Especially since it costs so much :x
You say '6 Months' so confidently. If your not sure ask someone.

Its actually, 3 - 6 months.
That's what I've read on a document prepared by batleykhan. And mostly I've heard people on this forum say that it's 6 months.

And it's "you're" not "your"

Stop this bickering

Post by Mush2012 » Mon Apr 09, 2012 9:40 pm

jalebi and navie999

Please calm down, it brings the spirit of the topic down, people are stressed enough.

navie999, it has been advised by batleykhan to send six months to avoid any problems by the ECO.

Like you say the UKBA website states three months minimum.

Applicants should send at least three months bank statements, but more if they have them available to them

Please remember that we are here to help each other.

How old are/were you?

You'll find several people who are younger and are recent applicants because of the law changing in November 2011 to allow 18 yr olds to apply again after the supreme court ruling.

It's expected to come into play in June. It will only apply to the applicants who apply after the official ruling changes. So if you know anyonw who earns less than that planning on getting married, then them to get married asap even if it means a crappier and not as well prepared wedding so they can apply. Provided that it is a genuine marriage and for valid reasons.

Appeals!

Post by syma » Tue Apr 10, 2012 11:26 am

Hi,

i was just wondering how many ppl do we have here whose cases have gone to appeal??

P.S looks like the whole 'replying with in 60 days' have been thrown out of the window by UKBA, just when they were getting a lil efficient with making decisions quickly.
