The UK Border Agency (Visa Section) at the British High Commission in Islamabad deals with applications made by business visitors, visit visas for 2, 5 and 10 years, and settlement applications (for applications submitted on or after 25 October 2010). We aim to process all applications as quickly as possible. Current processing times for visit applications is five working days. For settlement, we are currently processing within forty-one working days.

If your enquiry is about a 6 month visit visa, or a work or study visa, it will be forward to the UK Border Agency in Abu Dhabi for a reply. They will respond within 5 working days.

Just to clarify this is an automated email response and its an old one its not been updated. Unfortunately settlement visas are now not being dealt with at islamabad but now in abu dhabi and take more than 60 working days. The initial process is still done at bhc islamabad then process and decision is in abu dhabi.

jesus christ! how much more longer???

im on 50 working days...it needs to go to abu dhabi! u guys went to abu dhabi ages ago!

even if i phone isloo, im sure it will be a dodgy line and dodgy people, it is pak after all!

Dont worry. Apparently i have heard that applications go to abu dhabi in batches and come back in batches. Looking at ur timeline u will be the first to go in the next batch

I have not rang them about appeals before. U need to wait for someone to reply whos case has gone to appeal. They will know.
