yeahhhh.... this is what I am talking about mennnnnn!!!!!

Got my pink letter this morning asking for the ceremony on 14th June. Applied in Oct10 number, 68/10***/10. I rang last Thursday she said waiting for Garda report. So once they have Garda report it takes 1-2 weeks you get the answer.

Good luck to all the others waiting.

By the looks of it they are going to process 2011 applications soon after the June ceremony apart from few application which are outstanding from 2009 and 2010 which are special i think they need more time. I think the 6 month time frame may come in to effect by the end of year not by May as said in the INIS web site

On what basis did the person apply for? more clarification please..........if a person holds refugee status, being on social welfare does not affect application because of rights as an Irish citizen. there are also exemptions when paying fee for Naturalisation or when getting a GNIB card. or was it a spouse of an Irish citizen?

More info please!

IRISH IMMIGRATION IS FULL OF SURPRISES AND I PERSONALLY KNOW SOME PEOPLE WHO NEVER EVER WORKED HERE ARE LIVING IN COUNCIL HOUSES GETTING EVERY SINGLE BENEFIT FROM STATE WHICH THEY CAN AND STILL GOT THEIR APPROVALS ,YES IT IS TOTALLY UNFAIR AND THE PEPOLE WHO R WORKING HAVE TO SEND THEM ALL THE EVIDENCES OF THEIR WORK HISTORY TAX ETC, AND WAIT FOR THREE FOUR FIVE YEARS FOR THEIR DECISION !!! :(

Pink letter arrived today after 23 months (April 2010 application). April 1st ceremony date.

Having called up last week, one of the Mary's said it would be another 3-4months.

So that does go to ...
How many times did you get your approval.
