ILR Requirements after 05 Years of Marriage

Hi,
I am in UK on spouse visa since Jun, 2011 but we are married since 2007 i.e. 05 years, recently i came to know that i am eligible for ILR straight away without waiting for 02 years.

I want to confirm if that's true & can i apply for british passport straight after getting ILR ?

I will appreciate your help in this regard.

Why would you qualify earlier? It is a two year visa so no you can't just apply for ilr.
