Tier 1 Five years period

Hi All,

I eneter in the UK on Feb 2005 on student visa
I got HSMP approval on June 16th 2007 while i was still in the uk
My passport was stamped on 25th July 2007

Question is my 5 years continious period for ilr will start from the 16th when i receive hsmp approval or 25th when i got passport stamped?

your 5 years start to count from when u receive visa stamp on your passport
