Delay in processing

Hi, i had applied for an ICT visa with my wife being the dependant. I got documentation done from the UK office who had also fixed my appointment to the 28th of March. I went on the 28th, submitted the documents, completed the biometrics etc at VFS Bangalore.

I read posts here where people havent heard back inspite of their dates being as early as February 2012, i was told that the processing for tier 2 should be within 2 weeks usually.

1. Is there a difference between as to how they process in-country and out-of country applications?

2. Some of them have stated that they are waiting for their biometric letters, is this only for in-country applications?

3. Where do i get to see that date until when the UKBA is considering applications?
