i would like to get the opinion of people here what they think cud be the reason some cases take longer then others. Is it right to say People who have been waiting for long do not have a straightforward application or the HO takes longer for certain nationalities or the application process is just random?

No ones in this forum really knows the internal work procedures of the HO so it would be just guessing.
