i am inside UK, at present i am in PSW

i am a .NET Developer, working for a company for 1 year, earning 18K.

My employer is happy to sponsor me, but can only pay me 20K.

am i eligibile to apply for Tier 2 General.

20K is Fine as you have masters and working for 1year, i think you should be eligible

for software may be different soc

The eligibility criteria for tier 2 salary is: either 20K or salary according to your SOC code which ever is higher.

As you are a developer the least you need to earn is 26K as programmer. You need to have good look at Codes of practice website.
