I spoke to the people in ABU DHABI on Monday.

They said to me, that majority of the application will be sent back by end of the month. But I will call them next week for an update.

ANYONE CAN EMAIL/RING ETC.. BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS, THEY HAVE 120 DAYS IN WHICH THE PROCESS HAS TO BE COMPLETED.

SO 60 DAYS IS A GUIDELINE, BUT THEY CAN TAKE UPTO 120 DAYS IF THEY WISH. I DONT THINK IT WILL GO THAT FAR FOR ANY OF US TO BE HONEST, BUT HAVE IT IN YOUR MINDS.
Salaam bro, Thanks for providing an update. appreciate it

Guidance to visa processing times Pakistan

Post by Blitz03 » Wed Apr 18, 2012 1:52 pm

UKBA Service standards for settlement applications

We have service standards for processing UK visa applications in Pakistan. Our standards say that we will process:

95 per cent of settlement applications within 12 weeks and 100 per cent within 24 weeks of the application date.

So 12 weeks it is in majority of cases  that is 60 WORKING days.

That’s correct sir (well part of it), these changes were made after the Marriot hotel incident in 2008. Some percentage of the cases are sent to the UK and others are dealt by Abu Dhabi . :D

most settlement applications are processed within Pakistan, whereas a few are processed in England. Last year there was a "hub and spoke" arrangement, whereby all the applications were processed in Abu Dhabi. But
they have now deviated away from this, as confirmed by Theresa May. Now, all non-settlement applications are processed in Abu Dhabi

I always believe positivity will go a long way and will make the days fly by, as negativity will last alot longer and whats the point of of beating yourself about a situation you cant control I know its easier to say than actually follow, heads up guyz we all gonna rock

A little off topic but I just wanted to ask something.

I would love to go to Pakistan next month 1st May for 1 month and PIA price for return ticket is 700£ + and I check air blue and their return ticket is for 504£

I'm not fussed about the service or the stop over with air blue, just so long as I get to Pakistan safely and I am with my hubby
